This is a quick and easy dessert, if you like Guinness Stout you will love these twists! They are sure to become a favorite. They also go great with breakfast.

Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups Guinness Stout
1 large egg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 cups cream
Step Wise Instructions:
Boil Guinness until reduced to 2 cups.
Cool until just warm.
Combine egg and sugar in a bowl.
Stir in milk, then mix into the warm Guinness reduction.
Stir in cream.
Chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Process in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.

I found this recipe and it comes highly recommended. It was very nice but I think I’d change the icing to a cream cheese icing.

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg, separated
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 banana, mashed
Step Wise Instructions:
Heat waffle iron.
Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in mixing bowl.
Set aside.
In separate bowl whisk together egg yolk, sour cream, milk, butter and banana.
Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until blended.
Fold in beaten egg white.
Pour batter from cup or ladle onto center of hot waffle iron.
Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops.
Remove waffle carefully.

Ingredients:
1 c. milk
40 marshmallows
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
20 graham crackers, crushed
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 can cherry pie filling
Step Wise Instructions:
Melt marshmallows in milk in double boiler, chill.
Add whipped cream.
Combine graham crackers, butter and sugar; line bottom of 9-inch square pan with half the graham cracker mixture.
Layer cherry pie filling and marshmallow mixture over crumbs.
Top with remaining crumbs.

This is a delicious, fruity iced drink with flavors of apple and lemon.

Ingredients:
3 tsp grated orange peel
3 cinnamon sticks, crushed
3 tsp whole cloves
1 whole nutmeg, crushed
3 c Apple juice
6 Cinnamon sticks
Step Wise Instructions:
Combine orange peel, 3 crushed cinnamon sticks, cloves and nutmeg in a small bowl.
Tie dry ingredients in a double thickness of cheesecloth to make a sachet, or secure in a large tea-straining ball.
In a medium pan, simmer apple juice with spices for at least 20 minutes.
Ladle into mugs and garnish each with a cinnamon stick.

A classic cookie with a sweet topping.

Ingredients:Roast
1 cup sour cream
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Step Wise Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine sour cream, sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Slowly add the dry ingredients until everything is completely mixed together.
Let the dough chill for about 15 minutes.
Form dough into small balls, or use fun cookie cutters.
Bake until LIGHT golden brown - no more than 10 minutes.
When you take them out of the oven they may seem underdone, but they are perfectly fine.
Let them cool until soft and moist.

Ingredients: Crust
1 pk chocolate cake mix
14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
6 oz. Heath Bits ‘O Brickle
4 Heath Candy bars
8 oz. Cool Whip
Step Wise Instructions:
Bake cake as directed on box.
As soon as cake comes out of the oven, punch holes in the top of the cake with a straw.
Spread condensed milk on top.
Sprinkle package of brickle chips on top of cake.
Cool cake.
Spread cool whip on top.
Mash frozen Heath Bars (use a hammer) and spread on top of cake.
Keep refrigerated.

Ingredients:
9 large egg whites
3/8 tablespoon cream of tarter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon almond extract
2 1/4 cups grahmn cracker crumbs
1 cup chopped pecans
4 bananas, peeled and sliced
1 pint frozen whipped topping
Step Wise Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325°F(160°C).
Beat egg whites and creme of tarter until peaks form.
Combine sugars, gradually add to egg white mixture, with extracts, blend in for about 30 seconds.
Mix the crumbs and pecan together.
Fold in egg white mixture then pour in a well greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake for about 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Cool and top with bananas and whipped topping.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup butter
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup chopped slivered almonds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling:
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp red wine
vinegar
1 tsp Dijon or seed mustard
Sea salt and black pepper
3 spring onions, finely chopped
2 tbsp dill, finely torn
1 tbsp small capers, rinsed
Topping:
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp red wine
vinegar
1 tsp Dijon or seed mustard
Sea salt and black pepper

Step Wise Instructions:
Cook the potatoes in simmering, salted water until tender but still firm, about 20 minutes.
To make the dressing, whisk the extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper in a large bowl until thickened.
Add the spring onions, dill and capers.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large fry pan and sear the salmon, skin side down, until the skin is crisp.
Turn to finish cooking briefly on the other side, leaving the inside pink.
Season well.
Drain the potatoes and slice them thickly as soon as you can handle them.
Toss them carefully in the dressing, making sure the slices are well-coated, and arrange on four warmed dinner plates.
Place the salmon on top.
Wash the watercress, toss it in any remaining dressing and serve alongside salmon.

Serve immediately. If you have to store this in the fridge, it may separate, so to revive it,
Stir in a bit more cream before serving.
