French Fries

French Fries is the combination of Onions, onion & beef .This delicious french recipe is easy to make. Try our French Fries.
 
Total time to cook: 1.5 hours
Serves: 5

Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 lb ground beef
  2. French Fries
  3. Sour cream
  4. Tostitos con Queso Cheese dip
  5. Green onions
  6. 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Preheat deep fryer, then brown ground beef in skillet.
  2. Add 1 cup of water to skillet, and 1/2 cup of salsa for taste.
  3. Deep fry French Fries until golden brown (approximately 15 minutes).
  4. Melt 1/2 cup of cheese dip in microwave.
  5. Put French Fries onto a plate, then top with ground beef mixture, cheese sauce, sour cream and diced green onions.

Bread Bowls

A fun and easy recipe with handfuls of treats. Easy to change dry ingredients around to meet your tastes

Total time to cook: 1 hour
Serves: 6

Ingredients:
  1. 2 packages active dry yeast
  2. 1 3/4 cups warm water
  3. 2 cups bread flour
  4. 2 cups whole wheat flour
  5. 1 egg white
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add one cup of bread flour and one cup whole wheat flour.
  3. Mix until smooth. Keep adding flour, and mix until very hard to mix.
  4. Take dough out on a floured surface, and knead until dough is smooth and not sticky.
  5. Roll into a ball. Place into a greasy bowl.
  6. Cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled say for 2 hours.
  7. Divide into equal balls. Place on cookie sheets, and flatten them.
  8. Allow to rise for another 1 to 2 hours. If desired, brush with egg white.
  9. Bake in a preheated 375 degree F (190 degree C) oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
  10. When done remove from oven, and let cool.
  11. Cut a circle out of the top of each loaf, and compress it to form a bowl.

These delicious savory Breads are a delightful snack at cocktail parties. But beware, once you start, it’s hard to stop eating them!

Ingredients:
Cake:
  1. Five eggs, separated
  2. 2 tablespoons water
  3. 1 tablespoon vanilla
  4. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  6. 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
  7. Six packets sweetener
Filling:
  1. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  2. 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  3. Three egg yolks
  4. Four packets sweetener
  5. 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  6. 1/2 cup low-calorie topping, whipped
Step Wise Instructions:
Cake:
  1. Beat egg yolks and water until thick and lemon-colored.
  2. Gradually fold in vanilla, flour, baking powder, and grated lemon peel.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry, and peaks form.
  4. Beat in egg yolk mixture.
  5. Spread batter into wax-paper-lined 11 x 15-inch jelly roll pan sprayed with non-stick coating.
  6. Bake in preheated 400-degree oven 10 to 12 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan immediately and place on clean kitchen towel.
  8. Remove wax paper and sprinkle sweetener over cake.
  9. Cool cake, then unroll.
Filling:
  1. In small, heavy saucepan, combine salt, lemon juice, and egg yolks.
  2. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in sweetener and lemon peel.
  4. Fold whipped topping into cooled filling mixture.
  5. Spread unrolled cake with filling.
  6. Roll again.
  7. Refrigerate one to two hours.

Crisp Mexi Salad

  1. 1 medium head lettuce
  2. 2-3 tomatoes, chopped
  3. 1 small to medium onion, chopped
  4. 1 can dark red kidney beans
  5. 1 bag regular-size Fritos
  6. 1 small bottle Catalina French dressing
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Wash and drain lettuce.
  2. Chop tomatoes and onions.
  3. Toss as you would for a regular green salad; add beans, and enough corn chips to make you happy; toss together with desired amount of Catalina dressing.

  1. 3/4 c Fine sugar
  2. 1 ts Treacle (golden corn syrup)
  3. 1/4 lb Butter
  4. 1 ts Baking soda
  5. 3/4 c Coconut, flaked
  6. 1 c Oatmeal
  7. 3/4 c Plain flour
  8. 2 tb Boiling water
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. In saucepan place butter, treacle, soda, sugar and mix with boiling water.
  2. Bring slowly to boil, remove and add dry ingredients.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Place spoonfuls about 3 inches apart on well greased cookie tray.
  5. Bake at 275F about 25 min.

Round Roast

Simple beefy jerky cookie recipe.
 
Total time to cook: 30 minutes
Serves: 10

Ingredients:
  1. 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  2. 1 tsp. rosemary leaves, crushed
  3. 1-1/2 cups brown beef gravy
  4. 1/4 cup currant jelly
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 4 lbs. beef eye round roast, well trimmed
  7. 1-1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  8. 1 tsp. water
  9. Pepper to taste
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Combine garlic, rosemary and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl. Press evenly onto roast. Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  2. Do not add water or cover.
  3. Roast uncovered 18-22 minutes per pound for medium rare to medium doneness.
  4. Remove roast when meat thermometer registers 140°F for medium rare, 155°F for medium.
  5. Let stand 15 minutes.
  6. Combine dry mustard dissolved in water, beef gravy and jelly in a saucepan.
  7. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until bubbly, stirring occasionally.
  8. Carve roast into slices.
  9. Serve with sauce.

Appetizer Cheese Tray

Nice mixture of apple and cheese flavor in this recipe

Ingredients:
  1. 1 (11-ounce) package goat cheese
  2. 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  3. 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
  4. 1 Red Delicious apple, sliced
  5. 1 cup pineapple juice
  6. 12 slices provolone cheese
  7. 12 slices prosciutto
  8. 1 (10-ounce) round Gouda cheese, cut into 16 wedges
  9. 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  10. 1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
  11. Garnish: fresh thyme, red flame and green grapes
  12. French baguette, sliced and toasted
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Place first 4 ingredients in food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Spoon into a serving container; cover and chill up to 3 days.
  3. Combine apples and pineapple juice; cover and chill. Drain before serving.
  4. Place 1 provolone cheese slice on top of each slice of prosciutto; roll up tightly. Place in a zip-lock style bag and refrigerate.
  5. Cut in half just before serving. Secure with wooden picks, if necessary.
  6. Arrange cheese wedges, apple slices, prosciutto rolls, and goat cheese mixture on a large serving tray; garnish, if desired.
  7. Serve with bread slices.
