Frozen Yogurt Pops

Frozen Yogurt Pops

Wonderful yogurt dessert recipe.
Total time to cook: 40 minutes
Serves: 6
Category: Yogurt, pops, kid’s special, holiday
Ingredients:
  1. Small paper cups
  2. Wooden popsicle sticks
  3. plastic wrap
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Pour yogurt into paper cups.
  2. Fill them almost to the top.
  3. Stretch a small piece of plastic wrap across the top of each cup.
  4. Using the Popsicle stick, poke a hole in the plastic wrap.
  5. Stand the stick straight up in the center of the cup.
  6. Put the cups in the freezer until the yogurt is frozen solid.
  7. Remove the plastic wrap, peel away the paper cup, and eat your pop!

Brownie Biscotti

Brownie biscotti

You just can’t go wrong with chocolate and creams!
Total time to cook: 40 minutes
Serves: 4
Category: kids’ recipes, cookies, snacks, butter
Ingredients:
  1. 1 package chocolate cake mix
  2. 1container prepared chocolate frosting
  3. 1 bar chocolate flavored confectioners coating
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions using any of the recommended pan sizes.
  2. When cake is done, crumble while warm into a large bowl, and stir in the frosting until well blended.
  3. Melt chocolate coating in a glass bowl in the microwave, or in a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  4. Use a melon balls or small scoop to form balls of the chocolate cake mixture.
  5. Dip the balls in chocolate using a toothpick or fork to hold them.
  6. Place on waxed paper to set.

Carob Mint Ice Cream

 
Make this Mint Ice Cream the night before to allow time to chill.
Total time to cook: 40 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  1. Frozen bananas
  2. 1/2 c to 3/4 water
  3. 2 tb Nuts or 1 tb Peanut butter
  4. 1/16 ts Salt
  5. 1 1/2 tb Carob powder
  6. 1/8 s Mint-peppermint flavor
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Peel ripe, but not mushy bananas.
  2. Place in plastic bag and freeze solid. This takes several hours.
  3. To make ice cream, cut 2 medium size bananas into about 5 or 6 pieces.
  4. Blend with 1/2-3/4 cup liquid, or just enough to slowly turn bananas through the blades.
  5. The liquid may be fruit juice such as pineapple, apple, orange or grape, or soy or nut milk.
  6. While blending, use a rubber spatula to help bananas rotate. Also, occasionally turn off machine and stir.
  7. Ice cream will keep in the freezer up top 2 hours before getting hard to serve.
  8. Use as a dessert or over waffles, pancakes, granola, cooked cereal, etc.

Hazelnut Cookie

Just another variation of those great effortless cookies!
Total time to cook: 40 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  1. 2/3 cup Sugar
  2. 1 cup softened Butter
  3. 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  4. 1 tsp grated Lemon Peel
  5. 1 Egg Yolk
  6. 2 1/4 cup Fine Wheat Flour
  7. 1 1/2 cup grounded Hazelnuts
  8. 1/2 cup Jam
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Preheat the oven at 325 degrees.
  2. In a bowl mix sugar and butter.
  3. Beat the mixture till soft and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla essence, lemon peel and egg yolk.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add the flour and the hazelnuts.
  7. Make a soft dough.
  8. Make 1 1/4 size balls out of the dough.
  9. Take a ungreased cookies sheet and place the balls on it 2 inches apart.
  10. Press the cookies in the center with the thumb.
  11. Bake the cookiesat 325 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown around edges.
  12. Let them cool.
  13. When completely cool fill the cavity of each cookie with ½ teaspoon jam.

Roast turkey

Cooking a post holiday recipe made easy. Use leftover holiday turkey as the base.

  1. 6 crushed garlic cloves
  2. 4 tbsp of honey
  3. 4 tbsp of hoi sin sauce
  4. 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  5. 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  6. 2 tsp of salt
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Mix all of the ingredients over the turkey.
  2. Place in a 375°F (190°C) oven with a tray filled with water underneath.
  3. Roast for some times..
  4. Serve.

  1. 3 cups milk

  3. Yolks 5 eggs
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 lb. Figs, finely chopped
  6. 1½ cups heavy cream
  7. Whites 5 eggs
  8. 1 tbsp vanilla
  9. 2 tbsp brandy
Step Wise Instruction:
  1. Make custard of yolks of eggs, sugar, and milk; strain, add figs, cool, and flavor.
  2. Add whites of eggs beaten until stiff and heavy cream beaten until stiff.
  3. Freeze and mould.

Cocoa cola -flavored pound cake that serves 04 people

  1. 2 cup Flour
  2. 1 1/2 cup Marshmallows

  4. 1 cup Margarine

  8. 2 ea Eggs - Beaten
  9. 1 tsp Soda
  10. 2 Tbsp Margarine
  11. 2 Tbsp Cocoa
  12. 8 Tbsp Cola
  13. 2 cup Sugar
  14. 1 cup Nuts
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Combine flour & sugar in a large mixing bowl. Melt butter, add cocoa and cola (not diet), heat to boiling.
  2. Cool slightly.
  3. Pour over flour and sugar mixture, stir till well blended.
  4. Add buttermilk, beaten eggs, soda & vanilla. Mix well, stir in marshmallows.
  5. Pour into greased & floured 13×9 pan and bake @ 350 for 40 min., or till tests done.
  6. Frost while hot.

  1. 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  2. 2 tablespoons butter
  3. 2/3 cup sifted confectioners’ sugar
  4. 1 quart chocolate ice cream, softened
  5. 2 tablespoons hot milk
  6. 2 teaspoons instant coffee, dissolved in a teaspoon of water
  7. 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  8. Whipped topping
  9. 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut
  10. Pecan halves and shaved chocolate, for garnish
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Melt chocolate and butter together, stirring to blend.
  2. Stir hot milk into the confectioners’ sugar; add to chocolate mixture and stir to mix well.
  3. Stir in coconut.
  4. Press mixture into the bottom and up sides of 9-inch buttered pie plate.
  5. Chill in refrigerator.
  6. Stir softened ice cream; stir in coffee and chopped pecans.
  7. Spread in chilled pie shell, swirling top.
  8. Decorate with dollops of whipped topping, pecan halves, and shaved chocolate.
  9. Freeze mocha ice cream pie until firm.
