I like this simple lamb soup recipe. Easy to make, easy to eat!

Ingredients:
- ½ packet brown gravy mix
- ½ medium onion, chopped coarsely
- ¾ lb of boneless lamb shoulder, cut into one-inch cubes
- 2 cups of beef stock
- 1 ½ cups of potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup of beer
- 1 cup of carrots, sliced thinly
- 1 cup of green cabbage, shredded
- 2 teaspoons of olive oil
- ½ teaspoon of pepper

Step Wise Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water; bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved, about 1 - 2 minutes. Let cool.
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick saucepan over a medium-high heat.
- Sauté the chopped onion until golden (about 5 minutes).
- Add the lamb cubes and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring, until browned.
- Add the beer and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low; then cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in the beef stock and gravy mix.
- Add the potato cubes and sliced carrots, cover and simmer until vegetables are tender
- Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook until the cabbage turns bright green (about 3 minutes).

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cubed cooked lamb
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tbsp of flour
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 tbsp of cooking oil
- 2 tsp of curry powder
- ½ teaspoon of cumin

Step Wise Instruction:
- In a suitably sized saucepan, heat the butter and the oil.
- Sauté the onions until they soften, then add the garlic and cook for one minute.
- Stir in the curry powder, cumin and flour; then cook for a few seconds.
- Whisk in the chicken broth and cook, stirring continuously, until thickened.
- Add the cooked lamb cubes and heat though.
- Serve with rice and traditional curry condiments.

Ingredients:
- 2 medium sized bunch
- 2 tbsp oil
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 medium sized onion
- 1 or 2 green chilies
- 1 small tomato
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- salt to taste

Step Wise Instruction:
- Wash the spinach and chop finely.
- Lightly heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add the crushed garlic and fry for few seconds till light brown.
- Add onions, green chilies and saute on a medium flame till pink.
- Add spinach and stir fry on a high flame till the water from the spinach dries completely.
- Add the chopped tomato and cook on a high flame for 5 minutes.
- Add salt and coriander powder and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with rotis.
