Ingredients:
- 1 2/3 c flour
- 4 t baking powder
- pinch salt
- ½ c white sugar
- ¾ t cinnamon
- ¾ c rolled oats
- ¼ c finely chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1 c buttermilk
- 3 T butter, melted
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 c fresh or frozen fruit (blueberries, apricots, cranberries, raisins, chopped apples…)
- 3 T brown sugar
- 1 T butter, softened

Step Wise Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400º.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, white sugar, and ½ t cinnamon together. Stir in ½ c oats and the chopped nuts.
- Beat egg, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla together.
- Gradually stir contents of bowl 2 into bowl 1, mixing only enough to combine the wet and dry. Fold in the fruit.
- Butter the baking dish, and spread the batter into it.
- Combine ¼ c oats, brown sugar, ¼ t cinnamon, and softened butter and stir until crumbly. Sprinkle over coffee cake.
- Bake for 40 minutes, until golden brown and done in the middle.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 dashes hot sauce
- 4 cups pecan halves
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
- Melt butter in large saucepan or skillet.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and hot sauce.
- Add pecan halves, stirring to coat well.
- Spoon into a lightly greased glass or nonstick baking dish; spread out in an even layer.
- Toast at 400° about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Turn out on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.

Ingredients:
- 70 GMS. Flour
- 35 GMS. Powdered sugar
- 50 GMS. Butter
- 50 GMS. Chopped Cashews
- 1 tsp. Vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp. Milk
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla essence.
- 2.Seive the flour and fold into the butter.
- Add milk for consistency.
- Dust the table top/work area and roll the dough into a cylindrical shape and cut into equal round pieces.
- Then wet the top of each cookie with milk and put chopped cashew on each.
- Bake at 200 C for 15 minutes.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 1/4 tsp bottled minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 Italian cheese-flavored pizza crust
- 1 can quartered artichoke hearts, drained
- 2/3 cup grated sharp provolone or shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Step Wise Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450°.
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Stir in spinach. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet.
- Spread spinach mixture over pizza crust, leaving a 1/2-inch border; top with artichokes and cheese.
- Bake at 450° for 13 minutes or until cheese melts.

Ingredients:
- 12 oz. fettuccine, cooked, drained
- 1 oz. Smoked Cooked Ham, finely sliced
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1/2 lb. Cheese
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1 pkg. frozen artichoke hearts, thawed, drained, chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen green peas, thawed, drained
- 1/2 cup seeded chopped tomato
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves

Step Wise Instructions:
- Toss pasta with ham and oil.
- Stir cheese and milk in saucepan on low heat until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients; cook until thoroughly heated.
- Pour over pasta mixture.

Ingredients:
- 1 whole cut up frying chicken
- 4 cups red sauce
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella
- 8 oz. sliced pizza pepperoni
- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 green pepper chopped chunky
- 1 cup sliced zucchini

Step Wise Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a small roaster sprayed with cooking spray, put 4 tbsp. olive oil, add garlic and chicken pieces meaty side down.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes.
- Turn pieces over and put 2 cups sauce on top, then the pepperoni, green pepper and zucchini.
- Put last 2 cups sauce, parmesan cheese and mozzarella on top.

Ingredients:
- 1 tin of hotdogs
- 4 or 5 medium to large potatoes
- 2 medium tins of baked beans
- cheese

Step Wise Instructions:
- Peel, chop potatoes, put in pan with water, bring to boil them simmer till potatoes are soft.
- When potatoes are nearly cooked put beans on a gentle simmer.
- Chop hotdogs into bite sized chunks, no need to cook these first.
- Drain and mash potatoes.
- Put beans and chopped hotdogs into suitable sized casserole dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes onto beans and sausages.
- Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Put under hot grill till cheese bubbles and browns.

Ingredients:
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
- 2 cups bread flour
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 egg white
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Add one cup of bread flour and one cup whole wheat flour.
- Mix until smooth. Keep adding flour, and mix until very hard to mix.
- Take dough out on a floured surface, and knead until dough is smooth and not sticky.
- Roll into a ball. Place into a greasy bowl.
- Cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled say for 2 hours.
- Divide into equal balls. Place on cookie sheets, and flatten them.
- Allow to rise for another 1 to 2 hours. If desired, brush with egg white.
- Bake in a preheated 375 degree F (190 degree C) oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
- When done remove from oven, and let cool.
- Cut a circle out of the top of each loaf, and compress it to form a bowl.

Ingredients:
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup minced fresh or frozen chives
- 1 egg yolk
- Butter or margarine, melted
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in water. In a saucepan, heat milk, oil and mashed potatoes to 110 -115 F.
- Transfer to a mixing bowl; add yeast mixture, egg, sugar and salt.
- Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
- Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
- Place in a greased bowl; turn once to grease top.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface.
- Roll into a 15-in. x 10-in. rectangle. In a bowl, combine sour cream, chives and egg yolk.
- Spread over dough to within 1/2 in. of edges.
- Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal.
- Cut into 1-in. slices.
- Place cut side down in a quarter sheet baking pan (13″ x 9″ x 2″).
- Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Bake at 350 F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with butter.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- Refrigerate leftovers.

- 1 dash grated nutmeg
