Marmalade Pudding

Marmalade Pudding

Marmalade pudding is very easy and good father’s day recipe.
 
Total time to cook: 50 minutes
Serves: 4
Category: father’s day special, pudding
Ingredients:
  1. 2 oz breadcrumbs
  2. 2 oz flour
  3. 2 oz shredded suet
  4. grated rind of 1 lemon (nimbu)
  5. 2 tblsp marmalade
  6. 2 oz. castor sugar
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1/4 tspful baking powder
  9. 1/2 cup milk
  10. marmalade sauce
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together, sieving the flour and baking powder.
  2. Add the marmalade, egg and milk.
  3. If the mixture is too stiff, add a little more milk.
  4. Put mixture into a greased basin, cover with a double piece of greased paper and steam for sometimes hours.
  5. To make the marmalade sauce:
  6. peel a lemon very thinly and cut the peel into short strips.
  7. Boil these in water until soft, then add 2 tblspfuls of sugar and 2 tspfuls of cornflour made into a paste with a little water.
  8. Stir well and simmer for about 3 minutes.
  9. Remove from fire and add 2 tspfuls of lemon juice.
  10. Dish up the pudding and serve with the sauce.

Ham Bites

A little different, this Ham Bites Recipe.
 
Total time to cook: 50 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  1. 1 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs, divided
  2. 1 cup ground cooked ham
  3. 2 eggs, beaten
  4. 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  5. 1/4 cup grated onion
  6. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  7. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  8. Vegetable oil for frying
Mustard Sauce:
  1. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  2. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  3. 2 tablespoons flour
  4. 1 cup half-and-half
  5. 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  6. 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Combine 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, ground ham, eggs, shredded cheese, grated onion, brown sugar, and mustard in a large bowl; stir well.
  2. Shape ham mixture into 1″ balls.
  3. Roll balls in remaining 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, pressing firmly so that crumbs adhere.
  4. Cover and chill ham balls thoroughly.
  5. In large deep skillet, heat 2″ of oil; fry ham balls for 1 minute, turn and fry until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve immediately with Sweet Mustard Sauce.
  8. Sweet Mustard Sauce:
Mustard Sauce:
  1. Combine brown sugar and butter in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves and butter melts.
  3. Add flour, stirring until smooth.
  4. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Gradually add half-and-half; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened nd bubbly.
  6. Stir in mustard, vinegar and ginger; stir well.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Cool slightly.

American Biscuits

American biscuits with a filling made from unbleached all purpose flour, cold margarine, cold soya milk, vanilla extract or almond extract, seems delicious. Try our american biscuits
 
Total time to cook: 40 minutes
Serves: 7

Ingredients:
  1. 2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
  2. 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  3. 1/2 tsp. salt
  4. 4 Tbsp. cold margarine
  5. 3/4 cup cold soya milk
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Put all the ingredients into a bowl.
  3. Using a pastry cutter or a fork, blend the margarine into the dry ingredients until the mixture breaks down into fine particles.
  4. Add the soya milk and stir until the particles cling together.
  5. Turn out onto a floured bread board or countertop and knead for 1 to 2 minutes or until the dough is smooth.
  6. Add more flour as needed if the dough is sticky.
  7. Roll the dough out to about a 1/2-inch thickness.
  8. Cut into rounds, place on an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  9. Serve hot.

Cookies And Cream Fudge

The recipe is an awesome dessert. I do it about weekly and this is almost as the one I use
 
Total time to cook: 40 minutes
Serves: 6

Ingredients:
  1. Cookies ‘n’ Crème Fudge
  2. pkgs. white chocolate
  3. Baking squares
  4. Sweetened Condensed milk
  5. 1/8 tsp. salt
  6. 2 cups coarsely chopped chocolate
  7. Creme-filled sandwich cookies
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Line 8 or 9 inch square pan with foil. Set aside.
  2. In large heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt baking squares with Eagle Brand milk and salt.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Fold in cookies. Spread evenly into prepared pan.
  5. Chill 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares.
  7. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
  8. Makes about 2 1/2 pounds.

Butterscotch Rolled Cookies

Ingredients:
  1. 1 cup brown sugar
  2. 1/2 tsp salt
  3. 1/2 cup butter, softened
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1/2 tsp vanilla
  6. 1 3/4 cup flour, sifted
  7. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  8. 1/4 tsp baking soda
  9. 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  10. 1 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
  11. 1 egg white, slightly beaten
  12. 1 tbsp butter, melted
  13. 1/8 tsp salt
  14. 1/2 tsp vanilla
  15. food coloring
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Mix sugar, salt and butter thoroughly.
  2. Add egg and vanilla and beat till fluffy.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon and add to mixture.
  4. Chill well, several hours, or overnight.
  5. For the glaze, mix the confectioners sugar, egg white, butter, salt, vanilla and food coloring together until smooth.
  6. Roll the dough out until it is about 1/8 inch thick.
  7. Cut into fancy shapes and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 350F.
  8. Let cool and glaze.

Italian Cookie

Easy to make huge cookie batch! Quick and Easy and Delicious.
Total time to cook: 30 minutes
Serves: 6

Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 tsp grated lemon zest
  2. 165 g butter
  3. 1 egg
  4. 165 g flour
  5. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  6. 100 g cornstarch
  7. 90 g powdered sugar
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Whisk butter and sugar than add the egg, flour and corn starch sifted, vanilla and lemon zest.
  2. Put in a pastry bag, than make several shape on a non stick baking mat.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar, cocoa and chocolat chips.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Oven 180° C, 350 degrees F.

The combination of the flavors of almond and apple make this cake absolutely divine!

Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 c Whole-wheat flour
  2. 1/2 c Unbleached flour
  3. 1 tb Brown sugar
  4. 1 1/2 ts Baking powder
  5. 1/4 ts Salt
  6. Eggs, separated
  7. tbsp Oil
  8. 1/2 c Buttermilk
  9. 1/2 c Apple Juice
  10. 1/4 c Chopped almonds
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Beat egg yolks with oil, buttermilk, and apple juice.
  3. Stir into flour mixture with nuts until all ingredients are moistened.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
  5. Spoon onto a hot, greased griddle and turn once when bubbles appear.

Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 cup butter, softened
  2. 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
  3. 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  4. 2 cans apple pie filling
  5. cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  6. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  7. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  8. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cream together butter or margarine and confectioners’ sugar.
  3. Add 1 cup flour and mix gently just until dough comes together.
  4. Pat evenly into a 12 inch pizza pan.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove and spread with apple pie filling.
  7. In a medium bowl, mix together cheese, 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  8. Sprinkle over apple filling and return pizza to oven for 25 to 30 minutes longer.

  2. 4 eggs

  9. 1 Nestle Alpine white candy bar
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 11 1/2 x 9-inch baking pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
  3. Add remaining dry ingredients.
  4. Cut candy bar into morsel size pieces (some larger) and add to mixture.
  5. Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan, and bake for 25 minutes.

Italian Skewers

Your vegetarian friends will love this meatless appetizer selection.

 
Total time to cook: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
  1. 1 block mozzarella cheese
  2. 16 Genoa salami slices
  3. 1 can small artichoke hearts, drained and halved
  4. 1 pint grape tomatoes
  5. 1 jar large pitted Spanish olives, drained
  6. 16 wooden skewers
  7. 1 bottle balsamic-basil vinaigrette
  8. 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Step Wise Instructions:
  1. Cut cheese evenly into 16 cubes.
  2. Wrap salami slices around cheese cubes.
  3. Thread cubes, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and olives alternatively on skewers.
  4. Place skewers in a large plastic container or baking dish.
  5. Stir together vinaigrette and lemon juice.
  6. Pour dressing mixture over skewers; cover tightly, and chill 8 hours.
  7. Remove skewers from marinade, discarding marinade before serving.
