This is a really easy recipe for soothing flavors of almond and lard.
|

Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup slivered almonds
- 2 tablespoons lard
- 2 cups seasoned chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
- Lightly sauté the almonds in lard. Place in a blender.
- Add 2 cups of the chicken broth and purée until creamy.
- Heat the oil in a Dutch oven and brown the flour until it is light brown.
- Add the almond mixture and cook over medium heat until creamy and thick, stirring constantly.
- Taste for seasoning and adjust, if necessary.
- Add ground cumin and cover. Remove from heat. The sauce must be the consistency of heavy cream.
- If it becomes too thick, thin it with a little reserved chicken broth and cook, stirring, until of the desired consistency.
- To use, arrange cooked chicken pieces in a casserole dish, cover with the almond sauce, and cover.
- Heat in the oven at 325 degrees F.

Ingredients:
- ½” piece of Ginger
- 3 tsp. of Tea Leaves
- ½ tsp. of Aniseeds
- 1 tbsp. of Holy Basil
- Sugar (to taste)
- ¾ cups of Milk
- 1 ½ cup of Water
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
- Take a sauce pan and put the water on medium heat
- Add the crushed ginger, aniseeds and holy basil leaves.
- Let the water to come to a boil.
- Now add the tea leaves bring to a boil and then let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Strain the team and put it in a tea pot.
- Enjoy it with sugar and milk.

Ingredients:
- 1 c Butter
- 1 c Brown sugar
- 1/2 c Sifted fruit sugar
- 1 t Ground nutmeg
- 1 t Ground cinnamon
- 2 c Vanilla ice cream, softened
- Rum
- Boiling water
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, beat together butter, both sugars and spices until well combined. Beat in the ice cream.
- Turn into a 4 cup freezer container.
- Seal and freeze.
- To serve, spoon about 1/3 cup mix into a mug, add one jigger of rum and 1/2 cup boiling water.
- Stir well.

Ingredients:
- 5 Eggs
- 1 Onion
- Tomato Half
- 1 small piece Dry coconut
- ¼ spoon Coriander powder
- ½ Chilly Powder
- ½ Pepper Powder
- 3 flakes Garlic
- 5 leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Salt
- Oil

Step Wise Instructions:
- Boil eggs with salt.
- Peal the cover of eggs and cut into half.
- Pour oil in a kadai and put finely chopped onion, curry leaves and fry.
- Add tomato and fry.
- Add egg pieces also and fry.
- Meanwhile, Grind coconut, coriander powder, chilly powder, pepper powder, garlic and little salt.
- Add this mixture, chopped coriander leaves to eggs, and fry it for 7 minutes. Egg fry is ready.

Ingredients:
- 8 fish fillet
- 200 gms gram flour
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp ajwain
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 egg
- 100 gms curd
- oil for deep frying
- Salt To Taste

Step Wise Instructions:
- Clean, wash and cut fish into one and a half inch size cubes.
- Apply salt, lime juice, ginger paste, garlic paste and red chilli powder.
- Keep aside for 20 minutes.
- Make a batter of gram flour, curd, egg, ajwain, salt and water.
- Keep marinated fish pieces dipped in this batter for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the fish till golden brown and crisp.
- Serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala and lemon wedges.

Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1 3/4 cups cream
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoon instant-coffee granules or espresso granules
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

Step Wise Instruction:
- Special equipment: an ice-cream maker
- Stir together 1/2 cup milk and cornstarch.
- Whisk together sugar, cocoa, cream and remaining 1 1/4 cups milk in a small heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over moderate heat, stirring.
- Whisk in coffee granules.
- Stir cornstarch mixture again and whisk into coffee mixture.
- Return to a boil, whisking, then remove from heat.
- Add vanilla to saucepan, stirring.
- Set saucepan in a large bowl of ice water to cool, whisking frequently.
- Freeze coffee mixture in ice-cream maker. Transfer to an airtight container and store in freezer.

Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup low fat 1% milk
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut

Step Wise Instruction:
- Heat oven to 425°F. Spray large baking sheet with nonstick spray.
- Place flour, sugar, paprika and salt in a small bowl.
- Beat egg and milk in another small bowl.
- Place coconut in a third small bowl.
- Dip shrimp first in egg wash, then the flour mixture, then back in the egg wash, then in the coconut.
- Arrange shrimp on baking sheet.
- Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden and crisp.

Ingredients:
Cake:
- Five eggs, separated
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- Six packets sweetener

Filling:
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- Three egg yolks
- Four packets sweetener
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/2 cup low-calorie topping, whipped
|
|
Step Wise Instructions:
Cake:
- Beat egg yolks and water until thick and lemon-colored.
- Gradually fold in vanilla, flour, baking powder, and grated lemon peel.
- Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry, and peaks form.
- Beat in egg yolk mixture.
- Spread batter into wax-paper-lined 11 x 15-inch jelly roll pan sprayed with non-stick coating.
- Bake in preheated 400-degree oven 10 to 12 minutes.
- Remove from pan immediately and place on clean kitchen towel.
- Remove wax paper and sprinkle sweetener over cake.
- Cool cake, then unroll.

Filling:
- In small, heavy saucepan, combine salt, lemon juice, and egg yolks.
- Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in sweetener and lemon peel.
- Fold whipped topping into cooled filling mixture.
- Spread unrolled cake with filling.
- Roll again.
- Refrigerate one to two hours.
